Catch the turn. On every timeframe that matters.

MacdSetups tracks the Smarter MACD color state — rising or falling — across 610 symbols and 12 timeframes, flags every fresh switch as it happens, and attaches the confluence that separates a real turn from a wiggle: Edge triggers, Market Pulse, and squeeze state.

How it works

Every MACD wiggles. The work is knowing which turns spread.

A single MACD flip on a single chart is a coin flip. The information is in the surroundings: is the turn spreading across timeframes, did a trigger fire with it, what stage is the name in, and is it compressed enough to move? MacdSetups reads all of that, on every symbol, continuously.

01 · The color state

Twelve timeframes, one row.

Each symbol's row shows the Smarter MACD state per timeframe — rising or falling, with the age of the current color. The Green count compresses it further: 5/5 rising together reads very differently than 1/5, and now you can see it at a glance across the whole market.

02 · Settled honesty

A switch counts when the bar completes, not when it prints.

Mid-bar, a MACD turn can vanish as easily as it appeared. The board marks those as developing. Only when the bar completes does the switch settle — and settled colors never repaint. Every settled transition is written to history, so the record you review is the record that happened.

03 · The confluence stack

Three house reads on every switch.

A fresh flip arrives with its context attached: did an Edge trigger fire near it, what stage does Market Pulse put the name in — accumulation, acceleration, or distribution — and is the symbol sitting in a squeeze, where compression tends to amplify the move that follows? The tabs encode the combinations that matter: Green + edge, Green in squeeze.

Our promise

Settled means settled.

Momentum tools have a credibility problem: signals that quietly vanish when the bar reverses. We built the whole platform around not doing that. Developing is labeled, settled is permanent, and the transition history is append-only.

Two layers, labeled

Intrabar turns are developing and say so. Completed bars settle the color, permanently. The board never blurs the two.

Context, counted

Edge, Pulse, and squeeze are three named checks, visible on every row. No composite mystery score.

Events, not prophecy

A switch is a measured momentum event. Whether it deserves your capital is a judgment the platform deliberately leaves to you.

FAQ

Fair questions

What does MacdSetups actually do?+

It tracks the Smarter MACD color state — line rising or falling — across 610 symbols and 12 timeframes, flags fresh green and red switches as they happen, and attaches the house confluence stack to every one: Edge triggers, the Market Pulse stage, and squeeze state.

What is a color switch?+

The moment the MACD line turns from falling to rising (a green switch, the buy side) or rising to falling (a red switch, the sell side). Intraday a switch is marked developing, because it can revert until the bar completes. Once the bar settles, the switch is permanent.

Will switches repaint?+

No. Settled colors never repaint. The developing layer is explicitly labeled, and every settled transition is written to history. A switch the board showed you last Tuesday is still there, unchanged.

Why 12 timeframes?+

Momentum turns cascade: the 39-minute flips before the hour, the hour before the daily. Watching one timeframe shows you a line wiggling; watching the stack shows you whether a turn is spreading. The Green count (how many timeframes are rising together) makes that one number.

What is the confluence stack?+

Three independent house reads attached to every switch: whether an Edge trigger fired near it, what stage Market Pulse puts the name in (accumulation, acceleration, distribution), and whether the symbol is in a squeeze — compression that tends to amplify whatever move follows.

Is this financial advice?+

No. MacdSetups is analysis software for educational purposes. Nothing on this site or platform is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
